Katherine Bohan Finnerty is an Associate with the firm who concentrates her practice in all aspects of estate planning, elder law, and special needs planning. Ms. Bohan Finnerty's experience includes long-term care planning, drafting wills and trusts, estate and trust administration, guardianships, conservatorships, and MassHealth advocacy.

In her estate planning practice, Ms. Bohan Finnerty regularly conducts comprehensive estate and long-term care planning evaluations in order to recommend effective estate planning and wealth preservation strategies. She works closely with clients to prepare effective estate plans though the use of credit shelter trusts, income only grantor trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, qualified personal residence trusts, and supplemental needs trusts.

In her special needs practice, Ms. Bohan Finnerty works with families to protect and advocate for family members with a disability. She assists many families in setting up appropriate life planning and estate planning documents while establishing needed access to public benefits and financing for long-term care.
