Prior to joining the firm in 2008, Ms. Kopley was Assistant General Counsel at the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services - DDS (formerly the Department of Mental Retardation). In that role she represented the DDS in Probate, District and Superior Courts of Middlesex and Essex Counties. She also served as a trainer on the trust and guardianship Probate process and as legal advisor to DDS directors and staff.

Ms. Kopley received her law degree, cum laude, from Boston University School of Law, a certificate of international and comparative human rights from the National University of Ireland and a B.B.A. in Finance, cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She is a member of the Massachusetts and Boston Bar Associations.
