We offer advice and counsel on the formation of business organizations, including non-profits and for-profit corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships, professional corporations and practice groups. -
Governmental Relations
Our service in this area includes assisting with the permitting process for new human service programs, as well as handling contract appeals and contract negotiation. -
Consumer Rights
We counsel clients in the area of consumer rights including consumer empowerment initiatives; patient decision-making, guardianship and competency issues; confidentiality of consumer information; and right to treatment issues. -
Officer & Director Responsibilities
The Group advises clients on the duties, responsibilities and liabilities of officers and directors of non-profit corporations in a range of areas including, but not limited to, conflict of interest, self-dealing and related party transactions. -
Regulatory Compliance
We assist clients with regulatory oversight matters including state and federal service and financial audits, fraud and/or abuse investigations and compliance reviews. -
Labor & Employment
Our attorneys represent clients in labor and employment matters including employment agreements, employee handbooks, executive compensation, severance agreements, labor and union issues, employee benefits, sexual harassment, discrimination issues, wage and hour matters, and compliance with the Family Medical Leave Act, OSHA and other statutory requirements. -
Alliances & Joint Ventures
We counsel clients on legal aspects of consolidations, mergers, strategic alliances, joint ventures and related matters.
